Guest Speakers

Curt Hanson of Crintonic Gardens in Ohio will be our speaker on Saturday. Curt is known for his eclectic taste in hybridizing including pleated forms, unusual patterns, and near black colors. He has won the Bertrand Farr Silver Medal for outstanding hybridizers and is known for such award winning cultivars as PRIMAL SCREAM, SPIRITUAL CORRIDOR, BELA LUGOSI, and SUPREME EMPIRE.

Bob and Mimi Schwarz of Rainbow Daylily Garden in New York will show us their program on Friday evening. They are probably best known for Bob's work with tetraploid unusual forms, but Mimi also does wonderful work with wider petaled daylilies.
