As the members reassembled out at the van with their purchases, the terrible realization began to set in. You bought 20? I bought 20 and they bought 30.
Now comes the tricky part....

If we can just defy the laws of physics, we can get all these plants ... and all these people...in the van.

Voila. After biting the bullet and cutting off the scapes and some foliage, and laying them all flat, they all fit!.... thereby avoiding fisticuffs and shoving matches amongst the membership.
