PIEDMONT DAYLILY CLUB - Ludlow Lambertson of Art Gallery Gardens
There is little doubt that Luddy has an artist’s eye when it comes to hybridizing daylilies and his “genetic paintings” have created quite a stir. Beauties like Blue Hippo (2007), Unicorn Tapestry (2008) and this year’s Hyacinth Macaw (2010) are some of my favorites…just to name a few. Please join us for this behind the scenes look at Luddy's hybridizing program and a sneak peak at some of his most promising seedlings. Also, be prepared to bid on a few of his beautiful creations (April Delivery). For additional information, visit www.artgallerygardens.com. |

PIEDMONT DAYLILY CLUB - Paul Owen of Slightly Different Nursery

Hopefully his discussion will inspire you to make the journey later this year. Paul originally began hybridizing daylilies in northern Pennsylvania, but relocated his garden to the foothills of North Carolina several years ago. Expect to see some "different" daylilies in this entertaining discussion. Paul is also bringing several plants for aution purposes following the presentation. Visit www.slightlydifferentnursery.com to learn more about Paul and his garden. |
