Garden Judges Workshop 1 with Ed Zahler

During last year’s national convention, although the workshops were presented, few were able to attend, electing instead to go on garden or sightseeing tours.  So, we’re bringing a workshop to our club.  Our own Ed Zahler will present the Garden Judge Workshop 1.  While this introduction to garden judging is the first step for AHS members to becoming a Garden Judge, the insight and details will be very interesting for everyone.

Christmas Party and Chinese Gift Exchange

What a wonderful time of year to celebrate the holidays with all our daylily friends.

For the Chinese auction each person brings a gift valued from $15- $25.  You will draw a ticket to see when you choose a gift.  Remember the first and the last called are the best numbers.  When your number is called you can choose a wrapped gift or pick one someone else has already opened.  If someone takes your gift, then you choose another wrapped gift.  The person with the first number can chose from any of the opened gifts.

The club will provide the meats and drinks; bring your special Christmas covered dish.

To be held at Dick M. Johnson Civic Center
