DANCE WITH THE ONE WHO BRUNG YOU Remember, a lot of our members and supporters sell Daylilies. Bloom season is rapidly approaching. Most of us will be out visiting gardens and looking for that little gem that will look so great in our garden. Remember our friends and supporters. Tell them how much you appreciate their help. And keep them in mind when you buy new plants. There is a list of links on the right of this page entitled Friends of CVDC. Please check out their websites, visit their gardens and do what you can to acknowledge their kindness and generosity toward CVDC. THANKS :-)

About the Club
THE CATAWBA VALLEY DAYLILY CLUB is a member club of The American Hemerocallis Society. We belong to Region 15 which consists of North Carolina and South Carolina. We meet at The Arts and Science Center on the S.A.L.T. Block in Hickory, NC on the fourth Saturday of each month at 10:30 AM. Go to the north (back) side of the main building. Entrance to our meeting area is just west of the North entrance to The Arts and Science Center. There will be blue signs and a plaque on the exterior wall at our entrance.CLICK HERE FOR DIRECTIONS TO ARTS AND SCIENCE CENTERThere are no regular meetings in December, June, July or August. We usually plan unofficial outings or social events for the off months but no formal prograns are presented.
Want to join us?
Membership is open to everyone who shares our interest in Daylillies. If you are a talented hybridizer or if you just like pretty flowers you are equally welcome. Membership dues are $10.00 per year for adults with youth members admitted free.

Membership in the AHS is not required to join but all members are strongly encouraged to join the AHS for the many benefits offered, including four issues per year of The Dailily Journal and three issues of The Hem-alina, the official magazine of Region 15 of the American Hemoracallis Society.
