PLACES WORTH SEEING: Our last meeting before the Summer break is in May. I plan to publish a newsletter every month to keep everyone posted on Summer activities. I will also post information on some of the outstanding attractions in our area. Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens has a brand new Orchid Conservatory. This is truly a world class facility. About the Club

THE CATAWBA VALLEY DAYLILY CLUB is a member club of The American Hemerocallis Society. We belong to Region 15 which consists of North Carolina and South Carolina. We meet at The Catawba Science Center on the S.A.L.T. Block in Hickory, NC on the fourth Saturday of each month at 1:30 PM. CLICK HERE FOR DIRECTIONS TO CATAWBA SCIENCE CENTERThere are no regular meetings in December, June, July or August. We usually plan unofficial outings or social events for the off months but no formal prograns are presented.

Want to join us?

Membership is open to everyone who shares our interest in Daylillies. If you are a talented hybridizer or if you just like pretty flowers you are equally welcome. Membership dues are $10.00 per year for adults with youth members admitted free.

Membership in the AHS is not required to join but all members are strongly encouraged to join the AHS for the many benefits offered, including four issues per year of The Dailily Journal and three issues of The Hem-alina, the official magazine of Region 15 of the American Hemoracallis Society.
