THE BUZZ! - Catching up on the news before we start back with our regular scheduled meetings on September 27th. Our club won the attendance prize at The Region 15 meeting in June. Our prize was $500.00 worth of plants, all recent introductions. Joe Goudeau of Daylilies Etc in Baker Louisiana graciously added another $500.00 worth of his latest introductions to the prize. The plants from Charlotte are being grown on by Betty Smith and will be sold to club members next spring as a club fund raiser. The plants from Joe Goudeau will be coming next month and will be treated the same way. Thanks to Joe and everyone who worked to make the Region 15 meeting great fun for all who attended!

The CVDC Club trip to The NC Arboretum and Farmer's Market saw a good turnout with most people staying for the cookout at Carol Mayers. Thanks Carol for having us back again!
